DevOps Engineer

Our DevOps Team is expanding! RevaComm DevOps Engineers are responsible for designing and implementing DevOps solutions on various cloud services to automate, secure, and test applications that the RevaComm team builds and deploys. The DevOps engineer should be proficient with cloud infrastructure and deployments, containerization, CI/CD, automated scaling and security concerning DevOps as well as be able to understand large data architectures, IT systems, and aren’t afraid of learning new things to ensure systems meet a risk management threshold. Ultimately we are looking for someone that gets it done and isn’t afraid of challenges. Our DevOps pipeline manages the code we create that serves the DoD, banks, healthcare, state, local, and federal government, along with their customers.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our DevOps pipelines
  • Coach developers and other DevOps engineers
  • Conduct design, process, and infrastructure and security reviews
  • Work with clients and vendors to develop a best-in-class DevOps solution
  • Identify client MVPs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Kubernetes, Gitlab, and Docker
  • Strong fundamentals in Linux, Unix
  • Experience with DevOps automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet
  • Has a strong AWS background with GovCloud experience preferred
  • Strong Infrastructure and Configuration Management experience
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or work experience
  • U.S. Citizen (must be able to pass a background check)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for learning new technologies and systems patterns
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and articulate technical challenges and solutions
  • Experience collaborating with customers, developers, UX designers, and other non-technical partners
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile environment

Salary Range: Negotiable, Based on Experience
