DevSecOps Architect

As a DevSecOps Architect, you will solve complex technical and business problems for our customers by leveraging agile methodologies, DevSecOps, and close partnerships with other platform team members. You bring amazing user experiences to life through use of your knowledge in one or many application domains. The problems you will solve are as varied as our customers, who range from the Department of Defense, financial institutions, healthcare, state, local and federal government, and other industries along with their customers.

If You Join Us, You Will:

  • Be responsible for managing and helping to architect a large enterprise DevSecOps platform
  • Own the engineering solution, from concept to implementation and beyond
  • Design and implement infrastructure and internal services that allow our customers to increase speed of delivery while increasing quality of products and services
  • Make technical trade-off decisions and provide recommendations on the best options
  • Contribute to the design, development, validation, deployment and monitoring of multiple features for one or more cloud services running in production at scale using AWS or similar web stack
  • Participate in code and design reviews
  • Communicate with key stakeholders ensuring business goals and visions are met
  • Be part of a cross-functional product team that respects, supports, and pushes for continuous improvement
  • Engage with the customer and project teams daily to ensure both groups are happy
  • Be the customer point-of-contact for issues and outcomes
  • Be the facilitator to remove any team blockers
  • Be required to have and maintain the insights into the project and team as to when they are blocked
  • Identify customer MVPs

Our Ideal Candidates Are:

  • CI/CD and DevSecOps practitioners with demonstrated experience in Kubernetes, Istio and DevSecOp/Automation Services integrations
  • Experienced with architecting solutions that involve Microservices and Service Oriented Architecture
  • Experienced in one or many object-oriented programming languages
  • Familiar with implementing and using AWS or other similar cloud technologies
  • Aware of software development risks, with an appreciation for what is technically feasible
  • Able to maintain a high level of coding, testing, and engineering standards
  • Fearless written and oral communicators
  • Knowledgeable of industry standards and program management best practices
  • Extremely organized and are able to organize people and resources around them
  • Passionate about solving customer problems and delighting them in unexpected ways
  • Able to be flexible and adaptable if changes in priorities occur
  • Self-starters and fast-learners who are able to independently research and resolve issues using appropriate resources
  • Comfortable working with multi-disciplinary, multicultural, and geographically dispersed teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with CI/CD and modern frameworks
  • 8+ years relevant cloud experience
  • Strong Infrastructure and Configuration management experience
  • Experience with DevOps automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet
  • Proficient with Kubernetes, Istio, Gitlab, and Docker
  • DevOps or DevSecOps experience
  • CaC/IaC experience
  • Passion for learning new technologies and applying design patterns
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent work experience
  • US Citizen (must be able to pass a background check)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator
  • Project, Program, or Product Management experience is a plus
  • Experience leading teams with direct supervisory responsibilities
  • Ability to hold others, including senior management accountable
  • Active security clearance highly desired

Salary Range: Negotiable, Based on Experience
