The ideal candidate will support our business development, sales, and capture teams by responding to and winning government contracts. As the sole Proposal Writer, you will take point on translating our experiences, technical capabilities, and proposed solutions into content that is easily understood, persuasive, and clear. You know how to write compelling technical documents for audiences who may or may not be familiar with our technologies. In addition to strong written and verbal communication skills, the ideal candidate is organized and able to draw from previous content and proposals to tell our story to future customers.

We serve the Department of Defense, financial institutions, healthcare, state, local and federal government, and other industries along with their customers.

If You Join Us, You Will:

  • Lead the creation and revision of proposal content and design, to include collateral material used in the development of final proposals
  • Work closely with a Capture Manager, solution architect, and other staff throughout the capture process
  • Draft and review agreements and other contractual documents required by customers, partners, and subcontractors
  • Explain technical ideas in simple and understandable terms
  • Drive continuous improvement in our proposal submission process and increase both throughput and quality
  • Be part of a cross-functional team that respects, supports, and pushes for continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in technology or a highly technical industry
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s in a relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience
  • US Citizen (must be able to obtain a security clearance)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for learning new processes
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and articulate technical challenges and solutions through the written language
  • Experience collaborating with customers, UX, and non-technical partners
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile environment

Salary Range: Negotiable, Based on Experience
